A lorry plying the Kakamega- Kisumu route carrying molasses fell on a ditch at the side of the road just near the Isiukhu River. Witnesses said the driver of the lorry lost control after trying to avoid knocking down a pig that was crossing the road as well a  head on collision with a trailer that was oncoming. Residents of the area treated themselves to their fill with the ‘god given opportunity of molasses downpour’ flowing from the lorry.
